Astronomy trip to Coorg!
Come to Coorg and marvel under the starry skies, with an expert astronomer to help navigate the stars and constellations. we will also setup a high quality telescope to show you the moon, Saturn, Venus and Mars, besides other deep sky objects like star clusters, double stars etc.

What to expect
- -Frequented by kids and families. A safe and enjoyable event for all age groups.
- -The estate is close to a forest, so you must follow the instructions given by the estate.
- -The nature walk, night walk and morning bird watching are led by our naturalist.
- -Water, washrooms and parking are available.
- -Food is pre-ordered. On-demand food and other items may not always be available.
- -Shops are a few minutes' drive away, but they stock basic village essentials only.
About your stay
- -Tents are standard Coleman or Decathlon camping tents.
- -They will look very tiny if this is your first time camping. We have used tents like these for over a decade, and thousands of families have camped with us.
- -Your tent is exclusive to your family or group.
- -Western washrooms with running water are available at the camp.

- -Dinner and breakfast, plus evening tea and snack
- -Vegetarian and non-vegetarian food
- -Sleeping bags and sleeping mats
- -Viewing through the telescope
- -Bird watching and nature walk

- -A water bottle and shoes
- -A blanket or pillow, if you like
Getting there
- -We do not provide transport. You have to reach on your own. There is plenty of parking for cars and tempos.
- -By bus: take a bus from Bangalore to Gonikoppal. KSRTC runs electric buses that leave in the morning and reach Gonikoppal by noon.
- -From Gonikoppal the estate is about 27 km. Buses are available from there to Birunani.
- -From Birunani the estate is 2 km.
